079.157.010 - HYPNOTHERAPIST The profession of Hypnosis-Hypnotherapy is not licensed because it is not considered to be a danger to the public when practiced by a competent trained professional. The amount and quality of training a person has can vary greatly even among certified practitioners, so choose carefully. The important thing in selecting a professional competently trained practitioner is to find someone you feel you are comfortable with and confident about working with. I offer a FREE 1/2 hour consultation either by phone or in the office (by appointment only) for potential clients.. My clients range in age and backgrounds, but typically are professionals, executives, and those in the media and public eye who are seeking specialized treatment and results in briefer periods of time. My clients typically are between the ages of 30-60, who may have attended numerous therapy or treatment centers in the past, or whose lives have been impaired by their problems for a long time. My clients tend to be serious about wanting to accelerate positive personal change in their life. They are seeking solutions to improve their lives, and have the support financially and otherwise to commit to the coaching process in order to experience the results they desire. While I do not accept insurances, many of my clients may request their insurance companies reimburse them for services rendered. Some use their flexible spending account to pay for my services. The services I render are held out to the public as a form of Motivational Coaching & Consulting combined with Hypnotherapy and instruction and training in Hypnosis with the understanding that all Hypnosis is Self-Hypnosis. I do not diagnose, treat or prescribe medication for any medical or mental illness. Nor do I represent my services as any form of health care or psychotherapy, and despite research results to the contrary, I make no health benefit claims for my services. If you have been diagnosed with depression, anxiety, or any mental illness, medical illness or pain I will work with you only upon referral from your mental or medical health care provider.
